The Arkansas Oil Marketers Association (“AOMA”) has issued a notice to its members regarding sales of 5% bio-diesel fuel to Arkansas school districts.
AOMA states:
Wilford Jones, Arkansas Bureau of Standards, has received multiple calls from several school districts across Arkansas reporting diesel fuel quality issues. The problem appears to be caused by end users unnecessarily adding lubricity additives. Please notify and inform your customers that lubricity additives are not necessary and may cause filtering and other problems.
AOMA is an Arkansas trade association that includes petroleum wholesalers, convenience stores operators, and truck stop operators and other marketers of petroleum products.
