Ms. Grimsley primarily concentrates her practice in the areas of public and commercial finance and real estate. Her experience in financing extends to representing clients in handling all states of complex public finance, real estate and project development, business and leasing transactions, and representation of lenders and borrowers in complex lending transactions and tax credit financing. She represents a variety of issuers, borrowers, underwriters and trustees in tax-exempt and taxable public and private bond finance transactions.

Public finance, including tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions, private placements of bonds, municipal lease transactions, industrial development bonds, conduit or non-profit bond financing, underwriter’s and trustee’s counsel, and economic development, PILOT and other tax-abatement or incentive-based public financing
Banking and commercial finance, including real estate and asset-based commercial lending, letters of credit, revolving credits, subordinated debt financing, capital leases and other off-balance sheet financing, interest rate swaps, and bank syndications and participations
Real estate, land use and project development, including purchase and sale of unimproved and improved real property, real estate title, zoning, and survey matters, commercial leasing, and affordable housing and HUD lending
State and federal low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) development and new market tax credit (NMTC) projects
Corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions
Ms. Grimsley’s experience in financing extends to representing clients in handling all states of complex public finance, real estate and project development, business sand leasing transactions, and representation of lenders and borrowers in complex lending transactions and tax credit financing. She represents a variety of issuers, borrowers, underwriters and trustees in tax-exempt and taxable public and private bond finance transactions. She serves as counsel to banks, financial institutions and companies on a variety of lending and transactional matters, including complex commercial, real estate , asset-based and oil and gas loans. She assists clients with organizing and acquiring or restructuring other privately-held corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and professional organizations. She also assists clients with real and personal property leasing and purchases, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges of property, and general contract drafting.
Ms. Grimsley is the vice-chair of the Firm’s business practice group and participates in a number of firm management activities.
Ms. Grimsley has been a featured speaker at a number of in-house seminars for banks and municipalities, at economic development presentations, and at continuing legal education classes sponsored by the Arkansas Bar Association, Lorman Educational Seminars and by the Oklahoma Bar Association, where she has spoken on the topics of public finance and commercial lending and documentation. Ms. Grimsley was selected by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal as one of the “Forty Under 40” for 2009 and was previously featured as an “Outstanding Young Lawyer to Watch” by the Tulsa Business and Legal News (BH Media Group Holdings, Inc.). During her final year of law school, she was selected to work as an extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Brahney, III and the Honorable Jerry Brown in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Ms. Grimsley is currently a member of the Bentonville-Bella Vista Rotary Club and is also the President of the Board of Directors of The Scott Family Amazeum, a children’s museum located in northwest Arkansas. While living and practicing law in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she served a executive board member of the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa and volunteered with Tulsa Lawyers for Children.
