Director of Special Projects Michael Grappe of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has been asked to present a paper at the upcoming Thirty-Second International Conference on Solid Waste Technology and Management (“Conference”).
The Conference will be held from March 19-22 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The topic of Mr. Grappe’s presentation is The Future of Pre-Sub Title D Municipal Landfill Cleanups.
The Conference will address a number of waste management, treatment and remediation issues such as:

- Agricultural Waste
- Policy and Public Involvement
- Use of Waste in Construction
- Biological Treatment
- Contaminated Sites
- Waste Management Planning
- Special Wastes

Mr. Grappe’s presentation will take place on March 19th during a session on landfills.
