Nic Williams is a litigator and focuses his practices on defending healthcare providers, insurers and landowners in complex civil litigation. He has experience representing physicians, hospitals, and insurance carriers from complaint through final appeal.  Prior to joining the firm, Nic worked at Harvard Law School where he supported practicing faculty members and the Law School’s trial advocacy courses. While in law school, he worked for the general counsel of a multi-national NGO throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.


  • Serves on defense team representing pharmaceutical companies and medical device  manufactures in class actions and consolidated state cases involving hundreds of claims.
  • Advises healthcare organization on the impact of new legislation affecting day-to-day operations and the impact of the those changes to operational compliance.
  •  Assists in the defense of companies and individuals involved in complex litigation relating to care provided by hospitals, physicians, and nurses.
  •  Writes appellate briefs and motions for appeals in federal and state courts.
  • Counseled international attorneys on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
  • Admitted to Arkansas and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Externed with a federal judge in the Eastern District of Arkansas
