(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) – Mitchell Williams Attorney Anton Janik has earned the certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The AIGP certification was developed and launched by the IAPP in tandem with the IAPP AI Governance Center. Earning the AIGP credential demonstrates Janik has the competency to build, use and manage AI to prevent unnecessary risk or harm to the firm, clients or the public.
Janik joins the ranks of a robust community of qualified AI governance professionals who are working to establish a trustworthy, safe and responsible AI worldwide. At Mitchell Williams, Janik leads the information privacy, security and data rights practice and serves as chair of the firm’s Technology and Innovation Committee. He also holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credentials through IAPP.
AI governance professionals are tasked with the critical responsibility of evaluating AI, integrating relevant standards and best practices, and developing and implementing strategies for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
