(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Attorney Devin Bates has been appointed to the Artificial Intelligence Task Force of the Arkansas Bar Association by 2023-2024 President Margaret Dobson.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force is charged with researching the field of Artificial Intelligence and developing recommendations and resources to educate the Arkansas Bar’s membership on the use of this technology. Members of the task force will study guardrails for AI in the legal profession, how AI can benefit Arkansas Bar members and ethical considerations with the use of AI in legal proceedings.
Devin is a trial lawyer with experience in complex litigation including business matters, intellectual property disputes, constitutional litigation and products liability actions. He represents clients in conflicts involving governmental agencies and in administrative proceedings and schools in difficult challenges requiring practical, clear and comprehensive solutions. Devin has written frequently about the use of ChatGPT in the workplace and the use of generative AI in the legal practice.
