Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. announces Attorney Mark Holland has joined the firm’s litigation practice in Little Rock. He joins the firm following years of experience working at Mitchell Willliams as a legal assistant and paralegal while attending law school and recently earning a juris doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
In his new role as an attorney, Mark assists in the representation of clients experiencing legal issues related to individual and commercial bankruptcy. He counsels clients in business reorganizations, receiverships, secured transactions, adversary proceedings, evictions, collections and other insolvency matters. His experience working as a legal assistant and paralegal in bankruptcy provides him with a broad knowledge of bankruptcy code and bankruptcy law concepts which adds value to his clients. Prior to entering the legal field, Mark worked in academia where he taught collegiate courses in philosophy of technology.
In addition to his juris doctor, Mark earned a Master of Arts in philosophy and religion from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and religion from Hendrix College. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association.
