(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) – The Smithsonian’s Board of Regents has appointed Martha Hill to the advisory council of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. The museum’s advisory council consists of 21 citizens, the Smithsonian Secretary, one member of the Board of Regents and four members appointed by congressional leadership to which Martha was appointed by the U.S. Speaker of the House.
Together, the advisory council of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum helps with fundraising and advises the Board of Regents on matters related to the development of the museum.
Martha is a government relations attorney with extensive experience working as an advocate for clients before the Arkansas Legislature and the state executive branch. She counsels clients on proper compliance with Arkansas ethics law and regulatory concerns.
