(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Attorneys Audra Hamilton and Nate Read presented at the Arkansas Healthcare Human Resources Association 2023 Spring Conference in Hot Springs. They provided an Arkansas legislative update covering the latest employment laws from the 2023 Legislative Session that could impact AHHRA members. They also discussed the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act, exploring the requirements and how acts will affect existing policies and processes for hospitals. With a focus on practical solutions, Audra and Nate also tackled hypotheticals from the ADA that apply in the hospital setting, offering analysis and insights for real-world challenges.
