(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. has named attorneys Blake Brizzolara and Caroline Kelley as Counsel. Both attorneys joined the firm as associates in 2023.
Blake Brizzolara represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of business disputes, commercial litigation and tort disputes. He works diligently to understand his clients’ goals and uses that perspective to help them successfully navigate the litigation process or create dispute avoidance strategies. His legal practice focuses on complex business tort litigation, breach of contract disputes, insurance defense and trust and estate disputes. Brizzolara has successfully represented clients in a complicated trust lawsuit and breach of contract disputes.
Brizzolara is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel. He has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Stars in business litigation. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kristine G. Baker of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
Caroline Kelley is a business and tax attorney who works as a close partner with clients taking the time to fully understand their circumstances, values and objectives. She helps individuals and families plan and implement comprehensive estate planning strategies that accomplish their goals and minimizes tax exposure. She counsels corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies on formation, reorganization and other tax planning matters. Kelley is also known for her specialty practice handling adoption cases that involve domestic, Interstate Child Placement Company (ICPC), Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), and international adoptions.
Kelley is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association where she served as chair of the Young Lawyers Section. She is a graduate of the Public Service Academy, a program of the Arkansas Bar Association and Clinton School of Public Service. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for tax law and trusts and estates and by Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Stars in tax.
