(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. is pleased to welcome the 2023 Summer Session II Law Clerks. Law students Abigail Grimes, Adrian Hannah and Elizabeth Strickland are working as clerks in the firm’s Little Rock office and law students Mary Claire Luzietti and Lexi Robertson are clerking in the firm’s Rogers office.
Abigail Grimes is a law student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she is a first-year student mentor, Torts Dean’s Fellow and a Barbri student representative. She has earned top paper awards in Evidence and Advanced Legal Research. She graduated summa cum laude from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
Adrian Hannah is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. Adrian earned top exam in Constitutional Law and serves as staff editor and Noted & Comment editor for the Arkansas Journal of Food Law and Policy. He also served as investigator on the University of Arkansas School of Law Honor Council. He earned a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in finance from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
Elizabeth Strickland is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where she has been recognized as Best Oralist for Appellee, Legal Research and Writing. She is a member of the Board of Advocates and the Business Law Society. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and journalism.
Mary Claire Luzietti is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where she earned top paper for Second Memorandum in Legal Research & Writing I. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in accounting from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
Lexi Robertson is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law. She is president of the Student Bar Association and Moot Court chair of the Board of Advocates. She is the Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition Champion and earned the Best Brief Award. Lexi has served as a student organizer for the University of Arkansas School of Law Delta Initiative. Prior to law school, Lexi earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in dependent African and African American studies.
The Mitchell Williams Law Clerk program is designed to provide law students the experience of working across practices to develop the skills necessary to excel in the practice of law. Our law clerks actively assist lawyers and are assigned substantive, challenging and billable work to expand their skills.
