(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. is pleased to welcome the 2024 Summer II Law Clerks. Law students Cameron Hockle, Abby Penn, Verenice Perez and Hunter Willis are clerking in the firm’s Little Rock office. Law student Joshua Millikin is clerking in the firm’s Rogers office.
Cameron Hockle is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he was recognized as best oralist petitioner and overall best oralist in Spring 2023 Oral Argument. Cameron is graduate of the Lyon College where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and management.
Abby Penn is a law student at the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she was recognized with the 2022 Student Success 1L of the Year award and served as a Bowen Fellow. She competed at the National Veteran’s Law Moot Court Competition at the George Washington University School of Law and advanced to the quarterfinals round in Fall 2023. Abby earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing, sum cum laude, from the University of Central Arkansas.
Verenice Perez is a law student at the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where she is serves on the Law Review editorial board and is the articles editor. She also serves as student chapter president of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers. She is a magna cum laude graduate of University of Arkansas Little Rock where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. She is a member of the Junior League of Little Rock where she serves on the board of directors as treasurer-elect.
Hunter Willis is a law student at the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where is a member of the UA Little Rock Law Review and serves as vice president of the Outdoor Advocates student organization. He earned Top Paper in RWA II, serves as senator on the Student Bar Association and is a Bowen Fellow. Hunter holds a bachelor’s in sociology and in criminology from the University of Arkansas.
Joshua Millikin is a law student at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He was recognized as best oralist for appellant in 1L Spring Oral Argument. He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Business Law Society and Christian Legal Society. He earned a Master of Arts in criminal investigation from Waynesburg University and graduated magna cum laude from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science.
The Mitchell Williams Law Clerk program is designed to provide law students the experience of working across practices to develop the skills necessary to excel in the practice of law. Our law clerks actively assist lawyers and are assigned substantive, challenging and billable work to expand their skills.
