LITTLE ROCK – Mitchell Williams Attorney Anton Janik has been appointed chair of the Arkansas Bar Association’s Editorial Advisory Board.
Janik will be responsible for planning and evaluating The Arkansas Lawyer magazine, including the selection of authors for articles. The Arkansas Lawyer magazine is the flagship publication of the Arkansas Bar Association and is published quarterly. The magazine is distributed to the approximately 5,000 members of the Arkansas Bar Association as well as to other state and local bar associations and law libraries across the country.
Janik is an experienced trial attorney with a specialized practice in complex litigation, cybersecurity and privacy, and tax controversies. He advises clients in the areas of investigations and corporate compliance, employee privacy, data protection and social media. He is a former trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US).
Janik earned a LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College.
