Discusses the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

LITTLE ROCK- Attorney Ben Jackson presented today during the Arkansas Bar Association’s Best of CLE 2018 Marathon Week. His presentation was held at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.
Jackson’s presentation focused on privacy and security. He provided an overview on the changes in data protection regulation, with an emphasis on the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Jackson is an experienced litigator counseling clients when they anticipate potential litigation following an incident, after a lawsuit has been filed, through trial and beyond. He has developed a specific legal practice representing commercial clients, financial institutions, hospitals, medical clinics, physicians, and business organizations in matters of data security, risk management, cyber liability defense and medical malpractice defense. He serves as a strategic advisor to his clients helping them prevent and mitigate the risk of future litigation.
