LITTLE ROCK - Attorney Chuck Cliett presented at the Annual Meeting of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Cliett served on a panel discussing Obamacare Under the Trump Administration: A Discussion of the Healthcare Challenges Employers and Business Attorneys are Facing in Today’s Political Environment.
This program discussed the Affordable Care Act Under President Trump and what States have done to address problems facing employers and business attorneys caused by the action or inaction of Congress and the Administration. Panelists, which included an insurance regulator, in-house corporate counsel for a major carrier, and a seasoned insurance regulatory attorney in private practice, discussed key challenges and how their respective clients are adapting to an environment of uncertainty and regulatory volatility in the ACA arena.
Chuck Cliett is an insurance regulatory attorney that provides counsel to insurance companies and managed care entities in the commercial sphere and in relation to contracts with the Medicare program and state Medicaid programs.
