(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — Mitchell Williams Attorney Sharnae Diggs has been appointed to the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission by Arkansas Bar Association President Joe F. Kolb. She will serve a three-year term as commissioner.
Diggs concentrates her practice on general commercial litigation. Prior to joining Mitchell Williams, she clerked for the Honorable Lavenski R. Smith, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She has also served a a deputy prosecuting attorney in Pulaski County. In addition to her practice, Diggs is a member of the W. Harold Flowers Law Society, Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers, and the Arkansas Bar Association.
About Arkansas Access to Justice
In 2003, the Arkansas Bar Association petitioned the Arkansas Supreme Court to create an access to justice commission. The Court granted this request in December 2003, and it gave the Commission one objective: To provide equal access to justice in civil cases for all Arkansans.
