LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Attorney Sherry Bartley was recognized by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law as one of three distinguished alumni during the school’s 45th Anniversary Barrister Gala on October 22, 2021. Bartley and fellow honorees were nominated by their peers for their contributions to the legal community, their commitment to legal education and their leadership within the state.
For more than three decades, Bartley has served the legal profession as a distinguished attorney, counselor, mentor and leader. She has demonstrated her dedication and commitment to the legal profession in Arkansas through her abundance of volunteer service to legal organizations, legal education and Arkansans in need of legal service. Bartley has been a consistent supporter of legal aid in Arkansas. She has been actively engaged in service to the Arkansas Bar Foundation and the Arkansas State Board of Bar Examiners. She served as Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Bowen School of Law and also served as an instructor at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and Arkansas Advocacy Institute. Bartley has also served in numerous leadership roles in legal professional organizations.
Bartley is a litigation attorney at Mitchell Williams. Her primary areas of practice are toxic tort, environmental and products liability litigation. Bartley has served as lead trial counsel in over 40 trials, including numerous toxic tort, products liability, environmental and personal injury matters.
