Attorney Zach Steadman receives award from Arkansas Bar Foundation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 12, 2017) – The Arkansas Bar Foundation announced that Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates and Woodyard, P.L.L.C. Member Zach Steadman has received the association’s writing award for best in general category.
Steadman’s article, “Ransomware and Healthcare Providers,” appeared in Fall 2016 edition of Arkansas Lawyer.
Steadman’s specific experience is in insurance and health care regulatory work throughout the United States. He is active nationally in state legislation in insurance matters, Steadman works with clients on licensure and certifications by state insurance departments and health care agencies. He represents clients on federal and state regulation of health care providers, health plans and insurance carriers. He also advises clients on federal and state issues including privacy (HIPAA), fraud and abuse laws and data security and cyber liability.
On June 14, Steadman will be presented with the award for best in general writing from the Arkansas Bar Foundation during the annual meeting.
