LITTLE ROCK – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates and Woodyard, P.L.L.C. attorneys Ashley Gill, Lance Miller and Jennifer Pierce were featured speakers at the Arkansas Bar Association Mid-Year Meeting in Little Rock on Feb. 8.
The attorneys presented to their counterparts from across the state. The 2018 Mid-Year Meeting’s focus was on skills, drills and practical knowledge every attorney could use in the day-to-day practice of law. Gill spoke on a panel presenting “Ethical Issue in Arkansas Probate and Trust Practice.” Miller served on a panel presenting “How to be an Effective Advocate in a Mediation.” Pierce presented on “Unwinding Estate Plans.”
Gill practices primarily in estate planning and administration, taxation, commercial transactions and corporate law.
Miller is an experienced trial lawyer focusing on complex financial disputes and has tried dozens of cases before state, federal and bankruptcy courts and arbitration tribunals.
Pierce has over 15 years of experience with a focus on estate, trust and tax matters for individuals, estate and trust administration as well as entity formation and business planning.
The Arkansas Bar Association works to enhance the lives of Arkansas citizens by working to improve operations of the state’s judicial system, reforming state laws and advancing the professionalism of member lawyers.
