Discussed new changes to FOIA law

LITTLE ROCK, AR. – Attorneys John Baker and Devin Bates presented today at the Arkansas Governmental Finance Officers Association’s Annual Conference. Their presentation discussed the Freedom of Information Act and its effect on Arkansas Government Financial Officers.
Baker has over 20 years of experience in successfully trying and appealing a variety of business tort, contract, real estate, taxation, and class action suits before state and federal trial courts, Arkansas appellate courts, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bates is engaged in an active litigation practice in Arkansas as well as in other states, including work done in multidistrict litigation and complex commercial cases. He has experience in business litigation, products-liability cases, education law, FOIA and appellate advocacy.
