Earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) Credential Through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Attorneys Mandy Stanton and Anton Janik and have earned the ANSI-accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The pair co-lead the firm’s Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection practice area. Earning this credential extends the firm’s data privacy knowledge and expertise for clients conducting business in European markets and businesses required to follow European privacy law.
Stanton focuses her practice on evaluating and managing risks associated with privacy and data security matters. She counsels clients on incident readiness and response, structuring and implementing privacy policies and programs, data breach notification laws, information governance issues and vendor management. She assists businesses with drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts to ensure responsible access, transfer and use of data and associated intellectual property. Stanton is a former in-house counsel for an international information technology and data marketing firm. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Janik is an experienced trial attorney with a specialized practice in complex litigation, tax controversies and cybersecurity, privacy and data protection. He leads the Tax Controversy and Litigation practice area and advises businesses and individuals on tax controversies, investigations and corporate compliance, employee privacy, data protection and social media. Janik is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and a former trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
