U of A Law Student Erin Keil and UALR William H. Bowen School of Law Student Amanda Kennedy Recipients

LITTLE ROCK – Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. has awarded its annual H. Maurice Mitchell Leaders in Law scholarships to Erin Keil and Amanda Kennedy. Each student received a $2,000 scholarship for the 2018-19 school year.
Erin Keil, of Texarkana, Texas, is a third year law student at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Keil graduated from Texas Christian University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Advocates and is responsible for the overall management of the trial competition, moot court competition, and client advocacy competition. Additionally, she serves as faculty liaison for the Student Bar Association and secretary/treasurer for the Criminal Law Society.
Amanda Kennedy, of Elkins, Arkansas, is a third year law student at the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Amanda graduated from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications. She is currently the Moot Court Board Chair where she presides over all moot court activities and meetings and is responsible for organizing training for interschool and intramural competitions. She also serves as president of the Arkansas Association of Women’s Lawyers, Phi Alpha Delta, and as 3L Honor Justice for the Student Bar Association.
