The Arkansas Water Resources Center (“AWRC”) announced it is inviting pre-proposals for research projects that address water needs in Arkansas.
The funding opportunity is provided as part of the U.S. Geological Survey 104(b) Program as instituted by the Water Resources Research Act of 1984.
AWRC states it is soliciting two different types of proposals:
- Faculty Research Proposals
- Student Research Proposals with a Faculty Advisor
The AWRC announcement notes that if a proposal is selected for funding, there may be a request to provide additional information or make modifications based on comments from its Technical Advisory Committee, and the AWRC Director and Program Manager.
