The Arkansas Water Resources Center (“AWRC”) announced the date and location for its annual water conference.
The conference will be held from July 25th to July 26th in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The theme for the conference will be “Protecting Water Supplies for People and the Environment.”
The conference agenda will address water supply issues such as:
- Source water protection
- Science and policy in the Illinois River Watershed
- Urban water management
- Agricultural water quality and irrigation management
- Current research by U.S. Geological Survey
AWRC also states that the Arkansas Chapter of the American Water Resources Association will be partnering with AWRC to hold an annual symposium on the afternoon of the second day addressing:
- Dam Safety and Water Quality Supplies in Arkansas
