The Arkansas Master Naturalists are holding their annual membership meeting May 1-3 titled:
2020 State-Wide Annual Meeting and BioBlast (“Meeting”)
The Meeting will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Arkansas Master Naturalists are described as 693 “volunteer educators, citizen scientists, and stewards of the environment striving to protect and preserve Arkansas’ natural beauty.” Arkansas Master Naturalists are stated to have recorded over 10,000 hours of volunteer work for over 30 different organizations in 2018.
The annual Meeting is stated to be the one time each year that the seven Arkansas chapters meet for advanced education training. The meeting is open to all Arkansas Master Naturalists. However, the organization is always interested in discussing future membership for those wishing to join and become a 2021 Naturalist in Training.
The annual Meeting is seeking sponsors to help cover conference costs and provide scholarships for its 2020 Naturalists in Training to attend.

- Prescribed Burns
- Ecological Restoration
- Nature Journaling
- Arkansas’ Aquatics
- Invasive Plants
- Stream Team
- Leave No Trace
- Nature Intervention
- Hummingbirds
- Arkansas’ Native Plants
- Lake Watch
- Birding
- Arkansas’ Mushrooms
