The 2022 Annual Arkansas Solid Waste Conference (“Conference”) will be held from October 11th through 13th in Rogers, Arkansas.
The Conference will be held at the Rogers Convention Center and Embassy Suites.
Planned education sessions include:
- Keynote Session: Future of Recycling and Sustainability
- 2023 Legislative Session update
- The Future of Refuse Collection is Now
- Closed Loop Fund Update
- Food Waste Composting
- PFAS Panel
- Plastics Recycling NWA
- Renewable Natural Gas Market Update
- Safety Leadership: Understanding How YOU Impact Safety
- Solar Energy: Forecasting Utilization and Waste Generation
- State Solid Waste Management update
I will be undertaking a session updating Solid Waste Recycling/Judicial/Administrative Decisions.
The Conference anticipates approval of Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment – Division of Environmental Quality and Solid Waste Association of North America CEU credits.
A welcome reception will be held on October 11th and the technical sessions will begin on October 12th. Further, a networking reception and BAGGO tournament will be held on Wednesday. The Conference will include Exhibit booths.
