Representatives Richard McGrew and Lanny Fite filed House Bill 1015 which would amend Ark. Code Ann. § 8-4-203(b)(1)(C).
The above-cited Arkansas Code provision exemptions for certain entities related to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System or state permits for a non-municipal domestic sewage treatment works.
House Bill 1015 would add as an exemption to the following:
. . . A property owners' association or homeowners' association that operates a nonmunicipal domestic sewage treatment works that services a population exceeding five thousand (5,000) individuals.
The Bill has been referred to the House of Representatives Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee.
