The American Public Power Association (“APPA”) issued a November 16th news release listing the various public power electric utilities and utility organizations that earned Excellence in Public Power Communication Awards from the organization.
The Arkansas-based Conway Corporation was named a recipient of the Award of Excellence in the Print-Digital Category.
The awards were presented at APPA’s Customer Connections Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
APPA states that the annual awards recognize excellence in communication and are given to those that showed:
. . . ingenuity and creativity in telling their stories through outstanding copy, design, financial data presentation, graphics, social media engagement, video editing, and web layout and interactivity.
The APPA describes itself as the:
Voice of non-for-profit, community-owned utilities that power 2,000 towns and cities nationwide.
The Conway Corporation describes itself as operating for more than 90 years as the City-owned utility system providing electric, water, wastewater, video, internet, voice and security services, for the Conway, Arkansas, community.
