The Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”) issued an April 25th news release announcing additional funding under its Advanced Bus and Clean Transportation Program (“Program”).
DEQ states it intends to award up to $7,671,688 to applicants successfully completing proposals submitted to the Program.]
DEQ describes the goal of the Program as including:
- Reducing nitrogen oxide emissions from Arkansas fleets
- Encouraging the development of alternative fuels infrastructure within Arkansas
The Program is funded by the Volkswagen Settlement fund.
