The Arkansas Oil Marketers Association received correspondence from Tom Pugh at the Arkansas Weights and Measures addressing the agency’s enforcement policy on Engines Fuels and Lubricants Law violations.
The correspondence states:
Effective immediately, 1st offense violations of the Arkansas Weights and Measures Law & the Engines Fuels and Lubricants Law will be issued a 1st offense penalty in accordance with the enforcement response regulations, this penalty will usually involve a financial penalty.
Management should execute oversight to their businesses, providing contaminate free products and have all areas of operations compliant with legal requirements, protecting consumers personal safety and property.
The relevant provisions are found in Handbook 44.
