House Bill 1746 (“HB1746”) has been introduced which would amend the following two Arkansas statutes:
- Arkansas Business and Technology Accelerator Act (“Accelerator Act”)
- Consolidated Incentive Act of 2003 (“Incentive Act”)
The bill was introduced by Representative Lundstrum.
The Accelerator Act and Incentive Act would each be amended to add an additional subsection, making the following an eligible applicant:
. . . a business primarily engaged in operating combustors and incinerators for the disposal of nonhazardous solid waste, as classified in code 562213 of the 2022 North American Industry Classification System.
The bill has been referred to the House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture, Forestry & Economic Development.
