Stuart Spencer and myself will be undertaking a presentation at the Arkansas Recycling Coalition (“ARC”)Annual Conference titled:
Cannabis Laws and the Future of Cannabis Management (“Presentation”)
The Presentation will be undertaken on September 15th.
A number of issues will be addressed that have and will arise in regards to Arkansas medical marijuana. A key focus will be the various requirements associated with processing and growing medical marijuana. Also addressed will be a variety of issues associated with the disposal of medical waste. A reference will be made to processes associated with processing and grow facilities that can generate various hazardous waste and potentially trigger wastewater and/or or air requirements.
The Presentation will also include to some extent a discussion of labor issues that may be encountered by solid waste and recycling facilities through employee use of medical marijuana.
