The Permits Branch of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality Office of Air Quality (“branch”) periodically publishes a newsletter.
The May 2017 newsletter addresses:
- Renewal of General Air Permit for Rock Crushing Facilities
- Submitting on-line with ePortal
- Updated application forms
As to the General Air Permit for Rock Crushing Facilities, the branch notes that it was renewed with an effective date of September 14, 2017. It further notes that holders of the current active permit must submit an application to continue coverage under the permit. Instructions for renewing the permit are referenced.
The ability to submit all air permit branch documents through the ePortal is also addressed. A listing of the various documents is provided.
The application forms are stated to have been updated to include “some commonly neglected items and to provide a consistent format with ePortal forms.”
