The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) and the Environmental Training Institute will be presenting through a partnership a training session titled:
Pollution Prevention and Lean Principles Training (“Workshop”)
The Workshop will be held July 31-August 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cox Center (Central Arkansas Library System) in Little Rock, Arkansas.
ADEQ states that attendees will “learn methods to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase the bottom line for your business.”
ADEQ notes that the Workshop will include:
- Case studies from industry
- Interactive sessions on the use of Lean business practices
- Overview of environmental management systems, including updates on ISO 14001
- How to benchmark effectiveness
The Workshop speaker will be Thomas Vinson from the Environmental Training Institute in Austin, Texas.
