The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment and (“ADEE”), Office of Energy, announced it is seeking participants for an Energy Code Stakeholder Workgroup (“Workgroup”).
ADEE states that the Workgroup will collaborate on Arkansas’s energy codes.
An additional task of the Workgroup will include subsequent development of education outreach and implementation strategies for the updated Energy Code.
ADEE states that the first Workgroup meeting is scheduled for November 4th at Division of Environmental Quality headquarters in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Interested participants are asked to contact the Office of Energy.
Topics for the first meeting include:
- Office of Energy’s plans to update the Arkansas Energy Code
- How the update may affect stakeholders
Stakeholder groups are expected to include:
- Builders
- City Officials
- Industry Organizations
- Utilities
- Realtors
- Designers
