Aaron Littlefield, III, has been elected the 2020 Petroleum Marketers Association of America (“PMAA”) Chair of the Board.
Aaron is President of Littlefield Oil Company based in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Aaron was named Chair at PMAA’s Fall meeting at the National Association of Convenience Stores Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
PMAA is based in Washingotn, D.C. and represents petroleum marketers engaged in the transport, storage and sale of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel fuels, kerosene, jet fuel, aviation gasoline, propane, racing fuel, lubricating oils, and home heating oil and other petroleum products. The members are the primary conduit for bringing petroleum products from the terminal rack to retail locations and represent a link in the nation’s petroleum distribution chain. Approximately 80 percent of the motor fuels (gasoline and diesel) and heating oil sold in the U.S. are sold by petroleum marketers.
In accepting the position Aaron outlined goals and objectives for the coming year, which include:
- Improving efforts to educate the public and lawmakers about the important role liquid fuels serve in the marketplace
- Identify ways to unite the liquid fuels industry behind one vision to power America into the future
- Explain how the liquid fuels industry has added to the well-being of every American
Littlefield Oil Company was founded in 1946 by Aaron’s grandfather and great uncle, A.B. Littlefield and W.C. Littlefield. The company is a member of the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association which is a state chapter of PMAA.
