The publication Talk Business reported that Stephanie Osborne has been named the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association’s (“AAEA”) Executive Director.
Ms. Osborne replaces previous Executive Director Katie Niebaum who retired to care for the birth of twin girls.
Prior to joining AAEA, Ms. Osborne served as Executive Director of the Arkansas Society of Association Executives.
Additional previous experience includes:
- Occidental Petroleum Corporation
- United States Department of Defense in OSD-Policy for Humanitarian Assistance in Disaster Relief Group
- U.S. Agency for International Development
Ms. Osborne’s educational background includes:
- The George Washington University – Master of Arts, International Relations and Affairs
- Texas A&M University – Bachelor of Arts, International Politics
The AAEA describes itself as the business voice for advanced energy in Arkansas. It advocates the expanded utilization of energy technologies such as:
- Energy efficiency
- Demand response
- Natural gas
- Electric generation
