The Beaver Watershed Alliance (“BWA”) issued a February 13th news release stating that Carrie Byron was named in January the organization’s Outreach Coordinator.
Ms. Byron holds a B.A. in Biology and previously conducted wildlife research in Africa, Yellowstone National Park, the Boundary Waters, and Ontario.
Prior experience is stated to have included working for 13 years as the General Manager of Yellowstone Wilderness Outfitters. Her responsibilities included guiding interpretive ecology tours in the remote Yellowstone backcountry on horseback.
BWA also notes that she has:
. . . spent winters on her Ozark farm for the past decade, where she raises bison and trains horses.
The BWA describes itself as a non-profit organization:
. . . focused on maintaining high quality drinking water in Beaver Lake and improve water quality within the Beaver Lake Watershed.
