Arkansas Audubon Delta announced that Charles Allen has been named its Engagement Director for its Regional Office.
Audubon Delta describes itself as a Regional Office of the National Audubon Society and encompasses the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Mr. Allen’s duties include responsibility for Regional efforts to:
. . . engage, activate, and grow Audubon’s traditional and college chapters as well as . . . grassroots membership, with the goal of deepening the sphere of influence of the Audubon network in the Delta.
Additional responsibilities are described as engaging Audubon’s bipartisan network and conservation partners for successful policy campaigns and conservation leadership with a focus on climate and Mississippi River water issues.
Mr. Allen’s degrees include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana
- Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Environmental Policy from The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine
The National Audubon Society describes itself as protecting birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow, throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation.
