Longtime Arkansas environmental professional Chuck Campbell, P.E., R.E.M. announced that he is retiring.
Chuck’s upcoming retirement date is Friday, June 30th.
Chuck’s environmental service includes almost 25 years as a Principal and Senior Engineer at Bryant, Arkansas, based GBMc & Associates (“GBMc”). With GBMc’s acquisition by Alliance Technical Group in 2022, he was serving as a Senior Managing Consultant with the firm.
Chuck is an Arkansas Professional Engineer and is also licensed in seven other states. His 37 years of experience in environmental engineering has included environmental planning, cost analysis, design and contract management for industrial facilities, and work in specific areas such as National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permitting, wastewater treatment, evaluation of groundwater data, erosion/sediment control, air, hazardous waste, solid waste, and underground injection.
Prior positions have included:
- Manager, Corporate Environmental, ConAgra Poultry Company
- Corporate Environmental Engineer, Great Lakes Chemical Corporation
- Engineering Supervisor, Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality
- Staff Reservoir/Production Engineer, Larance Engineering Company
Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
I understand Chuck and his wife, Daphna, are building a house to downsize between Jessieville and Hot Springs Village. I also assume fishing and working on a 1937 truck will occur in retirement.
