David Witherow, P.E., has joined the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (“AECC”) and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., (“AECI”).
David formerly served as Associate Director for the Office of Air at the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”).
David’s new position is Process Improvement Manager at AECC and AECI.
Prior DEQ positions included:
- Senior Operations Manager – Office of Land Resources
- Senior Manager – Regulated Waste Operations
Non-DEQ positions have included:
- Chief Technical Officer, Resortments, LLC
- Mechanical Engineer/Designer, Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and has undertaken course work toward a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University.
AECC describes its activities as generating, selling, and delivering wholesale electric energy, along with related services, to its 17 member-owners who are the electric distribution cooperatives in Arkansas.
AECI describes its activities as providing education, public relations, government affairs and other support services to its 17 member-owners, along with selling electric utility materials and equipment and providing related services for electric utilities across the United States.
