Ms. Jamie Ewing was recently named Director of the Environmental Assessment Department of the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (“LRWRA”).
Jamie succeeds Stanley Suel who recently retired from this position after many years of service to the utility.
The four sections of the Environmental Assessment Department include:
- Compliance Lab
- Quality Assurance
- Sampling
- Industrial Pretreatment
Jamie’s most recent position was service from 2013 to June of 2018 as Assistant Attorney General, Environmental Division, in the Office of the Arkansas Attorney General. Prior to that she served for seven years as an Attorney Specialist at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality. Her background also includes private practice and work with the Arkansas Municipal League and a Land Trust Alliance.
Jamie received a degree in Wildlife Biology from Arkansas State University, her law degree from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law (with honors) and an LL.M in Environmental Law (magna cum laude) from Vermont Law School.
