The Northwest Arkansas Land Trust (“NWALT”) announced that Brittney Booth is their new Land Stewardship Coordinator.
The position is described as overseeing:
...boots-on-the-ground land management and habitat restoration areas.
Ms. Booth is stated to also serve as NWALT’s Principal Conservation Easement Monitor.
The Easement Monitor works with landowners “who have entrusted NWALT with the permanent protection of their lands”.
Ms. Booth’s previous experience at NWALT includes:
- Land Internship Intern.
- Special Projects.
- Seasonal Botanist and Restoration Specialist at Wilson Springs Preserve and Westside Prairie.
Education includes:
- Masters in Biology from the University of Arkansas.
NWALT describes its mission as to:
…preserve and enhance the quality of life for all people in Northwest Arkansas through the permanent protection of land.
