Arkansas Environmental Personnel Moves: William Montgomery Named Associate Director of the Division of Environmental Quality Office of Air Quality

William (“Will”) Montgomery has been named Associate Director of the Office of Air Quality of the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment – Division of Environmental Quality (“DEQ”).

He had been serving since late 2019 as Interim Associate Director of the Office of Air Quality.

Will had previously served as the Policy and Planning Branch Manager for the Office of Air Quality. In addition, he served DEQ as Policy Advisor in the Office of Air Quality and Attorney in the Legal Division.

Will has previously been employed as a law clerk for two law firms in private practice and Extern for Judge D. Price Marshall, United States District Court. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts at Rhodes College.
