Olsson announced in a March 25th news release that:
…Negotiations are nearly complete for Olsson to acquire FTN Associates, Ltd.,
(“FTN”), a water and environmental engineering consultant in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Olsson states that the acquisition is anticipated to close on April 22nd.
FTN was originally incorporated in Mississippi IN 1980 as Ford, Thornton, Norton, & Associates, Ltd. The original three founding partners included:
- Dennis Ford, PhD, P.E.
- Ken Thornton, PhD, Systems Ecologist
- Joseph Norton, Chemist employed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station
FTN evolved into a firm that addresses issues involving water, wastewater, natural resources, solid waste, and Clean Water Act compliance. The organization has 55 employees in the following locations:
- Little Rock, Arkansas
- Fayetteville, Arkansas
- Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- Creve Coeur, Missouri
Olsson is a national firm whose services include:
- Planning and Design
- Engineering
- Field Services
- Environmental and Technology
Olsson currently has 65 employees in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
