A friend who is General Counsel to a major medical institution in Central Arkansas forwarded me a resume of a chemical engineer who is relocating to Little Rock, Arkansas.
The chemical engineer is relocating to Little Rock because her spouse has been hired by the medical institution’s legal department.
It is my understanding that Ms. Jenny Cochran will be seeking an engineering position in the Central Arkansas area. Ms. Cochran holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (with distinction from the University of Oklahoma). Her current license designation is Engineer in Training.
Ms. Cochran has served as an Optimization Engineer since 2015 with Flint Hills Resources in Joliet, Illinois. Her responsibilities involve a number of environmental and related tasks which include:
- Management and optimization of the daily process of two petrochemical process units
- Cross-functional team member with console/field operations, environmental and reliability teams
- Performance of investigations utilizing Root Cause Failure Analysis to improve the reliability of solids handling process and equipment.
- Planning and preparation for turnaround activities
- Environmental responsibilities include performance of calculations for liquid and vapor releases; team leader for Clean Air Act Title V permit review; and evaluation and management of environmental compliance points within the units
Previous employment included various project engineering and process engineering responsibilities with Jacobs Consultancy (Chicago, Illinois) from July 2008 to December 2015.
Ms. Cochran has developed various skills associated with process simulation and process monitoring software along with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A copy of Ms. Cochran’s resume, along with her contact information, can be found here.
