The Arkansas Oil Marketers Association (“AOMA”) has announced the date for its Annual Environmental Workshop (“Workshop”).
The Workshop will be held on August 29th in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The Workshop addresses a variety of environmental issues associated with the utilization, storage, transportation, dispensing, and sale of various types of petroleum products.
Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) Office of Land Resources Associate Director Jarrod Zwiefel and a significant portion of his staff will be undertaking presentations and available for questions. Agency staff attendees will include the Regulated Storage Tank Inspectors.
Presentations will also be undertaken by equipment representatives Jerrod Langlinais and Wolfgang Sanyer.
Topics to be addressed include:
- 2015 Regulation Changes and how they apply in Arkansas and when will they be enforced in Arkansas
- Equipment representatives will show examples of items affected by new regulations and how to repair them
- Arkansas Storage Tank Trust Fund issues
- Walkthrough inspections
- LUST Corrective Action
The Workshop location is the Holiday Inn Airport in Little Rock. The registration fee if $49 for AOMA members and $89 for non-members and includes lunch.
