As previously noted, the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association (“AOMA”) is once again hosting its Annual Environmental Workshop (“Workshop”).
The Workshop will be held on October 18th at the Holiday Inn Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas.
AOMA just announced that Jarrod Zwiefel of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”) Office of Land Resources indicated that RST Inspectors from all 12 areas of Arkansas will be in attendance.
The key focus of the Workshop is the federal and Arkansas Underground Storage Tank Regulations. Also addressed will be the Arkansas Fire Code.
Agency personnel that will undertake presentations include:
- Jarrod Zwiefel, Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (“ADEQ”), Remediation Senior Manager, Office of Land Resources
- Special Panel of ADEQ Regulated Storage Tank Inspectors, Supervisors and Contractors
- Major Lindsay Williams, Arkansas State Fire Marshall

- Perspective from the 2018 National Tanks Conference
- 2015 UST Regulation Changes and How They Apply in Arkansas
- Storage Tank Trust Fund Issues
- Walkthrough Inspections
- New Requirements from a Contractor’s Perspective

- Aboveground Storage Tank Application and Installation
- LUST Corrective Action
Registration cost is $39 per AOMA member and $59 for nonmembers.
