The Arkansas Plant Board (“Board”) has scheduled its next quarterly meeting for November 5th.
The meeting will be held at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture at 9:30 a.m.
Attendance via Zoom is an option.
The agenda lists the following 13 members who have been appointed to serve on the Board for a term to expire on October 1, 2023:
- Bruce Alford, representing forage
- Marty Eaton, representing the Arkansas Seed Dealers Association
- David Gammill, representing corn, peanut, sorghum, turf, or wheat growers
- Mark Hartz, representing the Arkansas Agricultural Aviation Association
- Mark Hopper, representing the Arkansas Pest management Association
- Matthew Marsh, representing rice growers
- Reynold Meyer, representing livestock producers
- Matthew Miles, representing soybean growers
- Mark Morgan, representing the Arkansas Horticultural Society and the Arkansas Green Industry Association
- Nathan Reed, representing farmers
- Lester Scott, representing the Arkansas Crop Protection Association
- Travis Senter, representing farmers
- Richard Watts, representing the Arkansas Forestry Association
The agenda notes that two non-voting members designated by the Vice President of Agriculture of the University of Arkansas remained on the Board:
- Dr. Ken Korth
- Dr. Nathan Slaton
Two members appointed by the Governor whose terms expire March 17, 2020, remained on the Board:
