The Arkansas Recycling Coalition (“ARC”) announced the date and location for its 31st Annual Conference & Trade Show (“Conference”).
The Conference will be held September 12th-14th in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the Oaklawn Racing Casino/Resort and Event Center in Hot springs, Arkansas.
The ARC describes itself as uniting:
. . . large and small companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in a common effort to promote REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE, and RECYCLE as the primary means of SUSTAINABLE waste management in Arkansas.
The invited keynote speaker is John Randall Tyson who is the Executive Vice President Strategy & Chief Sustainability Officer for Tyson Foods.
Breakout sessions will include:
- Lithium Battery Recycling/Electric Vehicles
- National Perspective on Recycling and Waste
- Success Stories (State and Nation)
- Reducing Waste at Festivals and Public Events
- C & D Recovery Programs
- Workplace Laws: Marijuana, Threats and Violence
Other activities include an exhibit hall, tours, awards luncheon and a golf tournament.
